Prayer Letter October 2024

This quote from the letter of James reflects what we expe­ri­ence in Ohfi.

We are so grate­ful for your prayers that have upheld and sus­tained our min­istry of Ohfi since 1991 and espe­cially in the way it has brought about good things for many of the chil­dren and fam­i­lies in our various coun­tries and programmes.

Our desire is to attract more prayer part­ners from around the world. The more people we have fanning God’s grace through Ohfi the stronger will be our organ­i­sa­tion to bless an ever increas­ing number of chil­dren and fam­i­lies coming into our programmes.

Please could you pray that God will bring an increase of com­mit­ted prayer part­ners to Ohfi.

For many years now a group of won­der­ful Chris­tians in Kapiti have met monthly with Gillian and me to pray for Ohfi. One of the couples were Chris and Isobel Thomson. Sadly Chris died very recently. Chris’ and Isobel’s involve­ment with Ohfi and Open Home Foun­da­tion New Zealand goes back almost to the begin­ning of OHF. Our prayers, love and sym­pa­thy go out to Isobel and her family, with deep grat­i­tude for all that she and Chris have given over the years in prayer and support to the organisation.
